I Made a Thing: Doomsday Clock

So I decided I really want a functional, manual, doomsday clock for my desk. So, I decided to make one out of nicer spruce plywood.

The production process was relatively simple, if you have the tools. I used the Thunder laser at Dallas MakerSpace to cut the background, hands and face as well as the four minute markers. Once they were cut, I stained the background, markers, and hands with ebony stain. Assembly was mostly done with Gorilla clear all-purpose glue and simple hardware. The results are below, I love that my Avco Missile Systems punchcard goes well with the clock.
